Exercise Physiology

Supporting NDIS Participants finding Freedom in Movement

At Therapy Care, our exercise physiology services are designed to enhance the physical wellbeing of NDIS participants. Through tailored exercise programs, continuous monitoring, and regular reviews, we ensure that achieving your physical goals is not only effective but also enjoyable.

How We Support You

  • Tailored Exercise Programs: We create personalised exercise plans that cater to your unique needs and goals.
  • Ongoing Monitoring and Reviews: We track your progress and adjust your program as needed to keep you motivated and on track.
  • Comprehensive Physical Assessments: Our detailed assessments help with goal setting and provide necessary reports.

The Importance of Movement for Everyone

Exercise physiology isn't just for specific groups; it's for everyone. Regular movement and exercise are crucial for maintaining overall health and wellness. Our services help with:

  • Weight Management: Keeping your body at a healthy weight.
  • Functional Improvements: Enhancing your ability to perform everyday tasks.
  • Behavioural Management: Reducing stress and improving behaviour.
  • Emotional Regulation: Helping you manage your emotions better.
  • Positive Mental Wellbeing: Boosting your mood and mental health.
  • Reducing Comorbidity Risks: Lowering the chances of developing additional health issues.

Exercise for Life

Movement is essential for a healthy life. Our bodies are designed to move, and regular exercise helps maintain:

  • Healthy joints
  • Strong bones
  • Physical strength
  • Good circulation
  • Coordination and concentration
  • Responsive reflexes

Beyond physical health, exercise significantly supports mental wellbeing. Whether in a group setting or one-on-one with an exercise physiologist, physical activity can enhance social and emotional health.

Empowering Our Community

For individuals living with disabilities, exercise can improve the ability to perform functional tasks at home and in the community. This boosts confidence and promotes independence. At Therapy Care, we believe exercise should be fun and accessible for everyone.

Join us in making movement a part of your daily life and experience the freedom and benefits it brings.
