Short Term Accommodation /Respite

Short Term Accommodation

Short Term Accommodation (STA) at Therapy Care is designed to support NDIS participants by offering a safe, engaging, and skill-building environment. These stays provide an essential bridge for individuals awaiting permanent housing or those who need temporary respite. Our STA services align with the evolving landscape of the NDIS, emphasising participant-centered care and practical skill development.

Experience Personal Growth and Build Life Skills

Therapy Care’s STA services go beyond providing temporary housing; they empower participants to build new life skills and gain independence in a supportive setting away from their daily support team. Each stay includes tailored activities that enrich participants’ lives while meeting their NDIS goals.

Daily Living Skills Practice

Therapy Care integrates essential daily living tasks into STA stays, allowing participants to:

  • Practice grooming and personal care routines

  • Maintain a tidy living space

  • Manage laundry and clothing care

  • Make independent meal choices and purchase meals

Why Choose Therapy Care for STA?

Therapy Care’s team of compassionate, experienced professionals ensures each participant’s STA experience is enriching, safe, and designed to maximise personal growth. We believe that skill-building and independence are fundamental to achieving NDIS goals, and our short-term accommodation services are tailored to empower participants on their journey.

  • My son had an unexpected meltdown after noticing we packed a grey spoon instead of his blue one. The team tried everything, and when that didn't work, they personally came to our house to pick up the correct spoon. We've been with Therapy Care for two years through the school holiday program.
