Due to the recent updates from The Australian Government in response to coronavirus, we have acted immediately in transitioning all appropriate services to in-home for the foreseeable future.
All supports that fall under Improved Daily Living will now be provided in the home or a safe outdoor area. Personal care and domestic assistance will continue with minimal disruption with all safety and hygiene measures taken.
The day group program has had a major makeover! Effective immediately, our program is now an individualized service, delivered in the home. The program will follow a structured program that incorporates:
It’s so important to keep our participants active, supported, stimulated and socialising during such a testing time, for their health as well as to continue offering respite to their families.
Our team has created an at home leisure guide as well as fitness and leisure packs that include a host of activities that are being provided to staff and will be updated weekly. All equipment will be sterilized after every program. We’re also monitoring participant behavior closely and will conduct leisure assessments if needed to ensure all participants are stimulated and having fun.
Our head office team will be operating remotely and will continue to support participants through renewal meetings. The team is available to provide functional assessments for any participant on request via video call.
