Making the NDIS Easy!

Bring your NDIS Plan to life with Therapy Care

Who recreational therapy suits

  • Participants who learn best through play, movement and sensory experiences rather than table work
  • Children and adults building confidence, turn taking and tolerance for new situations
  • Someone whose week has gone quiet and needs a reason to leave the house
  • People whose sensory needs make ordinary activities overwhelming

How it runs

  1. 1 Find what they loveWe start from interests rather than deficits, because nobody practises something they hate.
  2. 2 Build the skill inside the activityCommunication, regulation and motor skills practised while doing something worth doing.
  3. 3 Take it outsideSkills move from our sensory gym into community settings when the person is ready.

How it is funded

Recreational therapy is usually funded from Capacity Building, Improved Daily Living. Some participants fund the community side from Core supports instead. We will sort out which applies.

Private clients are welcome. If you are paying yourself rather than using NDIS funding, call 1800 861 898 and we will talk you through how it works.

Call 1800 861 898 or send a referral and we will talk through what you need.
