We would like to reassure all members of the Therapy Care community that we are taking action to support you all throughout the current Coronavirus pandemic.
Therapy Care will continue to stay up to date with the latest actions and advice from The Australian Government, and will take the necessary steps to prepare and support participants, their carers at this time.
There may be changes to the Group Day Program, in terms of the type of activity and/or place the group visits. But if there are changes to the Group Day Program or any other supports or therapies, you will be contacted directly by a Therapy Care team member.
Our number one priority is the health and safety of our participants. If you have concerns about your safety, or would like to talk about actions or precautions you may wish to take, please reach out to your support worker.
Our support workers are following the strictest hygiene practices. We have also implemented a “no work if you are sick” policy, which all Therapy Care team members must adhere to.
If you are feeling unwell please let us know.
If you’re looking for further information, Frequently Asked Questions have been published by the National Disability Insurance Scheme to assist with your questions about the department’s response to the Coronavirus.
An easy to understand NDIS Coronavirus handout is also available for you to view here.
We thank you for your continued trust in us to provide high quality care, and for your patience as we prioritise our participants’ health and wellbeing.
