Meet Tony

Tony came to us through a deeply personal connection; he is the brother of one of our long-standing Therapy Care participants. When Tony’s circumstances reached crisis point, his family turned to us for help.

Led by Olina’s compassionate leadership, our team supported Tony’s urgent transfer from Queensland to Sydney. This effort brought together multiple teams, including:

Tony’s complex needs required a coordinated approach, secured SIL funding, and a personalised support plan that reflected his specific challenges and goals.

From Hospital to Home

After a lengthy hospital stay, Therapy Care’s leadership team personally sourced and set up a new home for Tony. This wasn’t a symbolic gesture; our Managing Director and senior team literally rolled up their sleeves and built the space Tony would call his own.

Tony’s home became the foundation for our new Supported Independent Living (SIL) program, developed with his needs front and centre.
