Consuming a healthy diet with regular, highly nutritional meals is an essential part of overall well-being. But eating well takes time, planning, budgeting, and the right skills — which is why we offer NDIS Meal Preparation Support that helps participants build confidence in the kitchen and make informed choices about their health.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy healthy, delicious meals that fit their goals and abilities. Our support goes beyond just cooking — we work with participants to build practical life skills such as meal planning, grocery budgeting, shopping, and preparing meals that support their daily routines.
Therapy Care’s support workers engage participants directly in the meal preparation process. Whether it’s learning how to choose ingredients, following simple recipes, managing a weekly food budget, or safely preparing meals, our team is there to guide and empower every step of the way. Participants can choose to lead the cooking with gentle support, learn through shared tasks, or contribute in the way that suits them best (including helping with cleanup).
If needed, our team can also collaborate with your wider health supports — including dietitians, speech pathologists, and other allied health professionals — to ensure meals are tailored to swallowing needs, dietary requirements, health goals, or cultural preferences.
